Today’s post is pretty short and simple.

If and when you need to rest then … rest!

Resting isn’t being lazy or wasting time or being self-indulgent. Resting is an important component of energy management and of health and wellbeing.

It really is hard (if not impossible) to be happy if you’re literally sick and tired all the time.

And remember, resting need not mean taking a whole day off. It might, but it might also be enough to rest for a few hours, or an hour or even just a few minutes of quiet.

So, again, do what you need to do and be kind and gentle with yourself as you do so.
