Dr. Sharp has appeared in two national TV shows (Excess Baggage on Ch9 and House of Food Obsessives on SBS) as well as taking part in countless interviews, providing expert comments on Sunrise, The Morning Show, The Daily Edition, Today Extra, The Project, Studio 10, 60 Minutes, Insight on SBS, Today Tonight, A Current Affair and many other programs.
He has, over the years, written regular columns for the Sydney Morning Herald and Body & Soul, and currently has a regular spot on HIF’s Healthy Lifestyle Blog. He’s also participated in literally hundreds of radio interviews (on virtually every station in Australia) and made numerous contributions to and been quoted hundreds (if not thousands) of times in print articles (the SMH, AFR, Daily Telegraph, Sunday Life etc). In addition, he’s published 8 books (several of which have been translated into other languages and sold in countries all over the world), he’s written chapters in several more, and since 2020 has published 3 Audible Original audiobooks (with another 2 coming VERY SOON!)
As a result of the profile he’s built over many years, as one of Australia’s most respected and liked psychologists, Dr. Sharp has increasingly been invited to partner with appropriate brands and organisations in media and marketing campaigns. He’s worked with Dyson, AMEX, Tip Top, Big W, Officeworks, Bankwest, AMP Financial services, Fitness First and many, many more who’ve all, in some way or other, wanted to incorporate the principles of positive psychology and the science of happiness into their messages.
