21 Feb Creating Happiness Series (Post 5)
Let me begin by noting that I fully accept we all have obligations and responsibilities.
I’m also very aware that life can be tough, and even bleak at times.
At the same time, I know that I take life, and myself, way too seriously sometimes; and it doesn’t necessarily help me or anyone around me.
So this post is about … having fun!
Enjoy the good times; laugh in the face of the difficult and absurd times! Sing and dance and wear your favourite clothes because … life’s way to short to take too seriously all the time!
One more thing: as you probably know, this “series” approach to my blog posts is new. I’m planning on publishing more in coming weeks including tips on managing depression and anxiety, coping with stress and boosting relationships. And so, WHAT DID YOU THINK of this first series on creating happiness? Do you want to see more of these “mini programs”? If so, do you have any particular topics or themes you’d like me to address? Feel free to email info@thehappinessinstitute.com (or message via the “contact us” page on my website) and let me know your thoughts. Thanks in advance.
PS: feel free to share these posts and these tips with family, friends or colleagues.
And if you’ve not already done so, feel free to sign up HERE to receive notifications each time (or once each week) I publish a blog.
PPS: if you’d like to explore creating happiness in more detail, you might like to explore my Audible audiobook series (beginning with Habits for Happiness) which are all FREE for Audible subscribers. Just search for “Dr Tim Sharp” or “Habits for Happiness” and … listen away : )
