3 words to keep you on track

Several years ago I was working with a coach and he suggested the following – a simple 3 word motto or mantra to help me stay focused on what really matters.

Too often we overcomplicate things and overcomplicating things reduces the chances of success.

I like simple and so I liked this idea and I settled on … positive, patient and compassionate. I try to say these to myself first thing every morning, and also whenever I’m about to head in to a situation I think being reminded might be helpful.

The great thing is you can choose your own words, and you can choose as many or as few as you’d like!
