Money might not buy happiness (directly) but it may well help in certain ways when it comes to living a good life…

I’ve just been analysing a report that puts that slogan well and truly to the test – and it definitely comes up wanting.
So, I’m jumping ship. Money can buy happiness.
Of course, it depends on your definition. But if happiness means good health, a nice place to live, an education and a long life, then money will do the trick.
Wealth equals health. And without good health you’ve got nothing – rich or poor.
So who do you think is out there spreading this subversive message, infiltrating our common beliefs and causing social unrest?
It’s none other than the Catholic Church and the University of Canberra – rabble rousers that they are.
