Today is a day to do the best you can.
Every day is a day to do the best you can.
But make sure you realise that your best will look different on different days!
So, if you run a literal or metaphorical marathon today … that’s great.
But if all you can manage is to get up and out of bed … then that’s also great.
We’re not the same every day; we’re not machines or robots. Our moods and energy levels, our mental and physical health, all vary from day to day and season to season.
Try not to judge yourself with the same measuring stick when you’re not the same person and so you can’t expect your performance to be the same!
Your best is good enough; whatever that best looks like each and every day.
