Imagine NOT looking forward to the weekend

Imagine NOT looking forward to the weekend

So many people spend so much of their lives working hard to get through the week so they can (hopefully) enjoy the weekend.

But what if you didn’t look forward to the weekends?

Not because weekends aren’t fun; but because the working week was not so much of a drudgery, because between Monday and Friday you were able to enjoy pleasure and happiness!

There’s nothing wrong with delayed gratification; but there is something very wrong with sacrificing 5/7 of our lives to maybe, possibly, enjoy 2/7!

Again, this isn’t an anti-weekend rant, but more so a pro weekday rave!

So, what can you do to enjoy your working and Monday – Friday life more? How can you bring some fun and pleasure to all that goes on outside of the weekend? Can you bring more of your strengths to work? Can you integrate more of your recreational activities and hobbies to the weekdays?

Even if you can find just a small amount of time for something like this it could potentially make a big difference to your overall happiness and wellbeing. Which, at the end of the day, has to be a good thing, right?
