A (relatively) simple way to enjoy life more

Life can seem quite complicated; especially if, like me, you’re an over-thinker.

But life, and happiness, need not be overly complex. Sometimes we just need to step back, do what we know we should do, and enjoy more of what comes with positive and satisfying activities.

And so today, I thought I’d proffer a relatively simple strategy we can all use to work out what we need to do more (or less) of and then to make it happen. 

Ready? Here we go …

Firstly, look back over your calendar or diary, for the last week or two, and identify those activities or meetings or whatevers you’ve been involved in and that after which, brought you some form of happiness (joy or excitement, contentment or satisfaction etc).

Next, look forward at the meetings and commitments you have coming up in the next few weeks and identify which ones make you feel excited or hopeful, optimistic or even joyful.

List ALL these activities or tasks you’ve identified within these two steps and then … SCHEDULE MORE OF THEM INTO YOUR LIFE! 

That’s it. Sometimes happiness can be as simple as doing more of what you love to do!
