What to do today (and every day)

I know we’re all different and I know we all have different obligations and more generally, different lives; but I still think the following recommendations are relevant to all of us. And so, here are my thoughts on what you should do today (or any day) …

  • do as much as you can
  • do nothing, and rest instead
  • do what you need to do to take care of yourself
  • do what you can do to help others
  • do all you can for your physical health and wellbeing
  • do NOT forget that your psychological wellbeing and happiness is also, just as important
  • spend time on your own, enjoying the quiet and peacefulness of your own company and solitude
  • catch up with friends, or loved ones, and do what you can to foster and develop the important connections in your life
  • live in the present moment
  • positively reminisce and plan for the future
  • take your responsibilities seriously
  • play and have fun

In summary, then, what should you do today?

Do what you need to do; do what you can, with what you have, where you are. YOU DO YOU!
