01 Dec Happiness, life coaching and life
Just this morning I’ve read two articles about life coaching, one of which was somewhat negative implying that we’d be better off just talking to friends.
Well, talking to friends is a very valuable exercise and one I’d strongly encourage as we know without a doubt that happiness comes at least in part from developing and fostering good quality relationships.
At the same time, however, I’ve no doubt there’s a role for professional life coaches – with the emphasis on professional and by that I mean those who’ve had appropriate training and gained relevant qualifications. Just as you might see a personal trainer if you wanted to improve your health; a financial advisor if you wanted to improve your wealth; so too is it worth considering a life coach if you want to improve your life and happiness.
