Life itself is our greatest teacher. We learn how to act. We learn how to be a part of something bigger than ourselves. We learn how to live. Happiness is the gear that makes everything work well, and makes living mean something.
Happiness is something that has no concrete definition for everyone on Earth, but we soon learn all the rules about what our own little world needs for each of us to be happy. In truth, our only mentor is ourself.
Happiness can be viewed from two perspectives: a boring biological “this is how my brain works” perspective, or the fanciful and somewhat imaginative ‘smiles come from happy thoughts and rainbows” perspective. Nature or nurture. Such is the complexity of happiness.
