06 Jun Happiness and overcoming the “Big 5” Challenges
John Maxwell publishes a regular eNewsletter focusing on leadership but many of the principles he espouses are just as relevant to happiness.
In his latest edition, for example, he talks about how great leaders face similar challenges to the rest of us but they deal with them more effectively. He goes on to list what he believes to be the “Big 5” challenges including discouragement, problems, change, fear and failure.
I’ve no doubt that the same could be said for happy people. They too face difficulties and challenges but they continue to experience more happiness than most people because of the strategies they use to manage these problems.
