06 Feb Happiness is more than one minute
As I get closer to finishing my day I realise it’s been somewhat of a mixed bag.
A few hours ago, I was filled with happiness. I’d achieved much and was confident my happiness life coaching programs were progressing well and helping many.
Since then, I’ve experienced a few frustrations! Nothing major, but just a few things not going entirely as I’d like them too. As a result, I noticed my happiness levels have been affected.
But on reflection I realise that many more good things have happened today than bad things – practising what I preach when coaching helps my happiness. On further reflection I realise that I’m heading in the right direction and doing what I know I should be doing – practising what I preach when coaching helps my happiness. On final reflection I realise that the minute or two of irritation and frustration should not detract from the many hours I’ve put into achieving my goals (including my own happiness).
So don’t ever let a minute spoil a whole day. Happiness comes from keeping things in perspective and if you’re doing the right things then one or two distractions should not take away from your positivity.
