14 Nov Happiness is knowing what’s important
I consider myself incredibly lucky that I get to meet so many amazing and happy people. And when I see happiness and success you probably won’t be surprised to hear that I often ask myself, “What’s the source of this happiness?”
Now I’m not suggesting there’s any one magic secret to happiness but there are undoubtedly some common themes, and one of the things I frequently see in happy and confident people is the ability to know what’s important. In fact there’s actually something even more important than knowing what’s important and that’s the ability to stay focused on what’s important.
Which reminds me of a great quote I recently discovered:
“Things which matter most should never be at the mercy of things which matter least.” (Johann Wolfgang Von Goethe)
Truer words were never said and so my thought for today is that happiness can be yours if you simply clarify your priorities and remain focused on and dedicated to them.
