Anyone with any credibility within the positive psychology world (that is those who study happiness from a scientific perspective) would note that our goal should not just be to “feel good” but to also, flourish and thrive such that we experience not just positive emotions (like happiness) but also that we experience and enjoy meaning, purpose, connectedness and engagement.

One who’s made a significant contribution to the field of positive psychology, especially in the area of building positive relationships and high functioning teams, is a man by the name of Marcial Losada.
