Employees and happiness

As many of you would well be aware, happiness at work is a pet issue of mine and our “Happiness @ Work” programs are increasingly in demand.

If you’d like to know more about what The Happiness Institute could do to boost happiness in your team or organisation then please call on 02 9221 3306 or email to info@thehappinessinstitute.com.

But it’s not just us focusing on happiness at work. In a recent BRW article, Glenn Stevens, the Reserve Bank of Australia governor was quoted as saying that staff and people are “the biggest single impediment to an expansion of business operations”. The journalist then went on to note that “in other words, it is the labour market…that is the biggest issue facing Australian business”.

There are many ways to address this issue but one of the most effective, in terms of enhancing an organisation’s ability to attract, retain and get the most out of their people, is to focus on keeping staff happy (and by happiness I don’t just mean having fun and laughing but also, finding meaning purpose in work as well as building high energy and positive teams).

So do what you can to make happiness a priority on your workplace and don’t forget you can contact us here at The Happiness Institue if you’d like to know more about how we can help.
